Founder Advisory
For founders carrying marketing themselves who need an outside operator’s eyes on a weekly cadence — not a board seat, not a consulting project, not therapy. A structured working partnership for one of the loneliest functions in early-stage SaaS.
Who this is for
- Solo founders or two-founder teams between $500K–$5M ARR
- No CMO, sometimes one generalist marketer or an EA helping with logistics
- Founder personally writes the company’s voice in some channel (blog, LinkedIn, podcast, etc.)
- Roughly 4–8 hours a week being spent on marketing — but feels scattered, reactive, calendar-driven
- Strong product instincts, weaker (or under-utilized) marketing instincts
What you get
- Weekly 60-minute working session. Not status updates — actual working sessions. We review what shipped, what’s blocked, what’s about to ship. We make decisions.
- Async availability between sessions. Slack, voice memos, drafts. Within reason — we cap advisory clients at three across the team to keep response time meaningful.
- Editorial review on long-form pieces before they go live. Same-day turnaround for sub-2000-word pieces.
- Monthly metric review. Honest report on what worked, what didn’t, what to stop doing.
- Specialist pull. When a question requires deep specialist input — technical SEO audit, conversion rate experiment, paid acquisition strategy — we pull in the right person from the team for a focused 30 minutes.
Pricing
$2,400 / month. Three months minimum. After three months it converts to month-to-month with a 30-day cancellation window.
What this is not
- Not a fractional CMO arrangement (we don’t represent your company externally, sit in leadership meetings, or run team OKRs)
- Not therapy. We will be direct about your priorities and the gap between what you say you’ll do and what you actually do.
- Not generic founder coaching (we work specifically on marketing-related decisions and execution, not life optimization)
- Not unlimited time — there’s a cap, and we honor it both directions
